Brief - to furnish casually with a resort feel for summer - when pool is in use, yet cosy and comfortable in winter. All furniture supplied from 'Make Your House A Home' including rattan sofas and dining setting, plush rug, home media unit and dining buffet, custom fabric ottoman, prints, pots, cushions and styling.

I walked in to Make Your House a Home to search out some ideas for my new house. Lisa was there to greet me and together we set on the journey to convert my new house to a home.
My house was totally bare and I had some ideas but I just didn’ t know what would work the best. Then my saviour Lisa ventured over to my house, talking through some ideas so she understood my ideas and taking measurements and photos so she could go away and think about what would look best.
Lisa produced a book of ideas with materials and photos for us to discuss and perhaps for me to use in my house. It was great seeing the ideas in front of me so I had a better idea of how things would look.
I trusted Lisa’ s instincts and now my new house has been transformed into a beautiful home with great colours, fabrics, cushions, rugs, wall paintings, foot stools and lamps.
All my guests comment on how fabulous my home looks, the first word is WOW.

When building our new home, we had a rough idea what look and feel we wanted and what colours and textures we liked and didn't like. But we needed someone to help us pull it all together to create a harmonious home from outside to inside. I met with Carla intially for a couple of hours and the time was invaluable, she helped me confirm my choice of colours and made suggestions of which shade to put where in the house depending on the use, lighting, how to set out the rooms etc. I found the team at Make Your House a Home so helpful, I went back numerous times for assistance with finalising the choice of window dressings, carpets and tiles and were always greeted with a smile. Their range of furnishings and homewares are amazing and always fresh. We found the team at Make Your House a Home very professional and proactive. In fact we now provide interior design time with Make Your House a Home for our own clients to help create their own unique and well put together home.

We had some basic ideas and were not really sure of how to go the next step. Enter Lisa!
We strongly recommend Lisa and her team - right from the beginning at the initial consultation where Lisa took the time to understand what we liked and wanted to achieve. Lisa also subtly introduced new ideas and concepts that we loved but would never have thought of by ourselves. We certainly received our value from this consultation by asking many questions and seeking advice.
The initial consultation is the best valued money anyone looking at improving their home can spend, from this a plan is provided and there is never any pressure to accomplish any of it in a certain timeframe – it’s a master plan that you can achieve at your own leisure and according to your own finances, taking one step at a time.
Though in our case, once we got started implementing the ideas from Lisa – we couldn’t stop! We were eager to see the reality of our plan come to life, Lisa was great in assisting with further advice & ideas along the way - even coming back to our home again to ensure everything went smoothly.
Our children love the color of their feature walls in their bedrooms and we all love the color recommended for various walls in our kitchen & living areas that unites the whole house in together but has each room with its own unique individuality in layout, furniture and accessories.
We love our home and enjoying the atmosphere of the changes we made through Lisa and ‘Make Your house a Home’ team.
